Simon Gill studied at the University Of Westminster and subsequently won the Rome Prize for Architecture, as well as being shortlisted for the RIBA Silver Medal. He spent a year at the British School at Rome studying the relationship between villas and their gardens in the late sixteenth century. After short spells of teaching at the University of Westminster he worked in Granada, Spain at Producciones Molina Alto, and then at Panter Hudspith Architects, London. He set up Simon Gill Architects in 1997.

Simon is happiest on a boat, in a bookshop, on the guitar or somewhere he’s never been before.

Sonia Gómez Pereda studied at Valladolid University of Architecture, Spain. In 2013 she moved to Rome to study Architecture, Aesthetic and Landscape at La Sapienza University, Rome. Her Bachelor degree was published at the Royal College of Architects of Burgos, Spain. While in Spain she worked at M.G.B. Engineering an Architecture.

Sonia joined Simon Gill Architects in 2016.

Sasa Regorsek received her MArch in Architecture with honors from Faculty of Architecture, University of Ljubljana in 2016.

In 2013 she studied Interior Architecture, Product and Graphic Design at the Technical University of Lisbon. Her master’s degree project Temporary Units in London has been nominated for The Young Talent Architecture Award (YTAA) organized by the Fundació Mies van der Rohe as an extension of the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award.

Sasa has worked on many architectural competitions such as Urban competition in Slovenia with Plan B Architects that won 1st prize and has been realised. She has worked on projects that have been featured in international press and exhibitions such us the Open House Slovenia, Piran Days of Architecture, exhibition at MUDE – Museu do Design e da Moda, Lisbon.

She has joined Simon Gill Architects in 2014.

Nichola Mocatta studied at Manchester Metropolitan University and joined ADP in 1997 working largely on education buildings from nurseries to halls of residence. Nichola became a Partner in the London office in 2004 and set up the Interior Design division of the Practice. She became an RIBA Client Adviser assisting Clients through the building process from brief writing to handover. Nichola has a particular interest in sympathetically restoring period houses whilst making them work well for busy families.

Nichola joined Simon Gill architects in 2014.
